Condition: Fair.  Binding tight.  No marks, tears, bends or folds.   Upper front cover corner at spine head has a slight crease.  Light edge and corner wear.  Smudging to bottom text block.  I would have ranked this as Good Condition, but it’s 70+ years old, and like me, Good Condition is a stretch.  This copy has been sitting on somebody’s shelf for a good number of years, unbothered.

Notes: Papers of the Peabody Museum of American Archaeology and Ethnology, Harvard University, Vol. XXXVII, Reports of the Awatovi Expedtion Report No. 5.   In the Foreword, J.O. Brew, director of the Awatovi Expedition, credits “Al” Lancaster and Watson Smith for their excellent work on uncovering and interpreting the kiva murals.  The bennie of the volume are the 9 color plates of the murals.
