Condition: 2 copies.  Copy 1 (RCL): 1981 printing.  Fair to Good.  Binding tight.  No bends or folds.  Previous owner’s stamps on bottom and side text blocks.  Approx. 1/2″ tear at front spine head edge.  Copy 2 (V): 1969 printing.  Poor to Fair.  Binding tight.  Previous owner’s name in ink on inside front cover.  Major fault is the water damage to the rear cover with the wrinkling (not terrible, but noticeable) to the last 20 or so pages.  All text is still readable.  Scuffing to front cover, foxing to spine.  Title marked on spine.

Notes: Papers of the Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research Number 3.  Dean’s revised doctoral dissertation.  Sampling of 292 timbers from Betatakin and 540 samples from Kiet Siel, plus sampling from 87 dates and less detailed archaeological information from 11  other Tsegi Phase sites.
