Notes: Soil Systems Publications in Archaeology Numbers 7 and 13.  2 volume set.  Prior to the construction of a portion of the East Papago Freeway in Phoenix, archaeologists from Soil Systems developed a testing program to identify cultural resources, evaluate their significance, assess the impact of freeway construction and recommend mitigation measures. Part 1 provided evidence of a small, single-component habitation site (AZ U:9:66 [ASM]).  Part 2 detailed specialist studies of the site on canals, ceramics, lithics, flotation, pollen, faunal remains and mollusks.  Parts 1 and 2 of this set are also available, sold separately.  For Part 1 see  https://joethebookguy.com/shop/archaeology/arizona-department-of-transportation-archaeological-testing-program-part-1-east-papago-freeway/  For Part 2 see https://joethebookguy.com/shop/archaeology/arizona-department-of-transportation-archaeological-testing-program-part-2-east-papago-freeway/
