Condition: Fair.  Ex-library.  At least four previous owners–2 libraries and 2 private individuals–before it got to me.  Library stamp on upper front cover edge and twice on upper edge of the title page.  Previous owner’s name in kink on the upper corner title page.  Library tage taped to lower front cover corner, tape extends over spine to lower rear cover.   A second (?) previous owner’s stamp on lower front cover corner, on the upper rear cover corner.  Library card in pocket at rear.  Smudging to rear cover.

Notes: Museum of New Mexico Papers in Anthropology Number 14.  Hammack’s revised Master’s thesis.  A salvage operation undertaken prior to the construction of Ute Dam and reservoir in northeastern New Mexico.  Identification problems–is this area a Chaco variant, peripheral to the Anasazi area to the west, the Mogollon culture to the southwest, or the Plains culture (Antelope Creek) to the east, particularly because of the tipi rings identified?
