Condition: 2 copies.  Copy 1 (FL): Fair to Good.  Binding tight.  No tears, bends or folds.  Previous owner’s mark in ink on upper front cover corner.   Sun-fading to spine and front cover spine edge.  Stain to bottom of text block at spine edge.  One approx. dime sized spot on front cover (water?).   Smudging to bottom of text block.  Copy 2 (FL): Fair to Good.  Binding tight.  No marks, tears.  With the exception of two small bends on the lower front cover corner this appears unused.  Some edge and corner wear.

Notes: Anthropological Papers # 86.  Nubian Series Number 2.  When the Listers went to Africa for a year (1963-64), Florence worked on examining historic Nubian pottery, from approx. A.D. 600-A.D. 1000, three distinct periods–Meroitic, X-Group, and Christian (Coptic), influenced by the Syrians and the Greeks.
