Notes:  The first excavation project by the AAS, of a small multicomponent site about 25 miles northwest of Albuquerque.  The site indicated two periods of occupation, one ceramic and an older preceramic.  The ceramic level was dated to between A.D. 1300-1450, with artifacts of potsherds and lithic materials.  The preceramic level yielded artifacts including milling stones, some stone tools, and firepits.  That level was dated to the Preceramic Basketmaker age, about 2000 years ago.
