Notes: Texas Archeological Survey Research Report No. 69.  The Doña Ana Range, an impact area for guided missiles, sits on the west side of New Mexico Highway 54, the main highway from Las Cruces to Alamogordo, opposite the McGregor Range (see  https://joethebookguy.com/shop/archaeology/a-cultural-resource-inventory-and-assessment-of-mcgregor-guided-missile-range-otero-county-new-mexico-3-volume-set/).   The reconnaissance level  survey, followed by a 10% ground survey of 960 square kilometers, found 198 prehistoric sites.  Ain’t nothin’ can be done.  Missiles trump archaeology every time.  VERY RARE.  NO copies available for sale.
