Condition: Fair. Binding tight. Bookworm damage to cover and first 34 pages. Front corners creased. Lower rear corner creased. Bookworm damage to lower text block. Upper front cover corner at spine has approx. 1/4″ tear.
Notes: Bilingual, English and Navajo, side by side, same page. Two volumes in one. The single volumes (Little Herder in Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter) are much more common than this twofer. Translation into Navajo was done by Robert W. Young, and edited by John P. Harrington. Arranged in “chronological” (i.e. morning, noon, afternoon, night) order, with tasks (herding), animals (sheep, goats), weather as parts of the day. VERY RARE in this edition.
