Prior to the construction of a waste disposal site for an electrical plant, MNA surveyed the site. “The archaeological survey located 33 sites, including Archaic and Pueblo period camps and residences, stone quarry locations, and several historic period sites.” (From the Abstract) I find it ironic that 1000-1500 years ago some hunter or group of hunters stopped at these sites, maybe had a meal or two, chipped some stone, and left their trash behind. Flash forward to today–an electrical plant is leaving a different form of trash behind. Will this be worth studying in the future? VERY RARE. No other copies available for sale. From the library of the late archaeologist J. Richard Ambler, his stamp.
