Several pages have folded corners. No tears. Binding tight. Without dust jacket, as issued.  Gilt on spine still sharp, easily readable.

Notes: Memoirs of the American Folklore Society Volume XXX.  IN SPANISH.   As a library copy it was a spectacular failure–NEVER checked out (considering that it is in Spanish and the library was in southern Illinois…).  Reprinted by University of New Mexico Press as Cuentos de Cuanto Hay: Tales from Spanish New Mexico (bilingual, Joe Hayes, 1998).
