Description
Author: Tanner, Clara Lee (1905-1997)
Publisher: University of Arizona Press
Pub Date: 1976
Binding: Hardcover
Condition: Book: Fair to Good. Binding tight. No marks, tears, bends or folds. Bottom front corner worn. Gilt on spine and front board still sharp, easily readable. Dust Jacket: Poor. NOT price clipped. Upper front cover edge chipped, torn. Front cover and spine and rear spine edge all scuffed, worn. Previous owner applied Wite-Out to a couple of areas of the cover to diminish the deterioration. The cover is actually delaminating–the ink of the cover is flaking from the slick paper it’s printed on. A clear fixative has been applied to slow/stop the delaminating, and the dust jacket is now in Mylar cover.
Notes: Prehistoric = Anasazi, Mogollon, and Hohokam. Southwestern = Arizona and New Mexico and a small sliver of southern Utah. Aside from the usual pottery, jewelry, and clothing, she includes items like pipes, quivers, nose rings, and musical “instruments.”
