Condition: Book: Good.  Binding tight.  No marks, tears, bends or folds.  Dust Jacket: Fair.  Price clipped.  Previous owner bound the dust jacket in a clear plastic film which has kept the jacket protected, but also memorialized any faults.  Very light edge and corner wear.

Notes:  Introduction by J. Frank Dobie.  This volume was apparently the first reprinting of Bourke’s memoir/history since its original publication in 1886.  As an ethnographer Bourke was friends with Frank Hamilton Cushing, Washington Matthews, John Wesley Powell, Jesse Fewkes, and Frederick W. Hodge.
