Condition: Fair.  Binding tight.  No marks, tears, folds.  Lower front cover corner slightly creased, bowing.  Lower rear cover corner has an approx. 1″ crease.  I think the book might have been dropped on that lower corner, but it’s very light.   Light edge wear.   Appears unused.

Notes: A collection of four early (1826-1905) first-person accounts of visits to the Seri Indians of Sonora, Mexico.  From Lt. R.W.H. Hardy’s account of a visit to Tiburon (Shark) Island (an excerpt from Travels in the Interior of Mexico), to Charles Sheldon’s journal of hunting with the Seri.   This has the hallmarks of Indiana Jones, King Kong on Skull Island types of exploration, where the adventurers never returned.
