Notes: Pamphlet.  Offprint.  Anthropological Papers, No. 32 (see https://joethebookguy.com/shop/indian/anthropological-papers-numbers-27-32/).  This volume identified as an excerpt from BAE Bulletin 136.  White’s original BAE report on the Acoma Indians was published in the Forty-Seventh Annual Report of the Bureau of American Ethnology 1929-1930 (Smithsonian Institution, 1932) There’s quite the hodge-podge of information in here, published after White’s initial report of 1932, updating and adding to the original–lots of ceremonial information, family information (men-women, birth, naming, twins, death, adoption, relatives), brief (7 pages) “Autobiography of an Acoma Indian”, animal and bird names.
