Havsuw ‘Baaja: People of the Blue Green Water

$12.00

Havsuw ‘Baaja details the origins and early times of the Havasupai people of the Grand Canyon and relates trends in their recent history to currents in American life. The book speaks a unique language where the author uses voices of Havasupai storytellers to emphasize turning points in their past. “A Season on the Plateau,” the book’s pivotal central section, offers its most compelling chapter; a novella dramatizing the closing years of Havasupai traditional life.  (from Goodreads, https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/17597.Havsuw_Baaja )
