Description

Editor: Swann, Brian

Publisher: Random House

Pub Date: 1994

Binding: Hardcover

Condition: Book: Fair.  Binding tight.  No marks, tears.  Upper front corner bumped.  From pages 189 to 240 there is a bend along the lower page edge, and from page 241 to page 284 there is an approx. 1/2″ crease along the lower page edge.  Obviously either dropped and the book hit something on those lower page edges, or something was bumped into the book at that point.  Dust Jacket:  Fair.  Price clipped.  There’s a line along the rear cover, looks  like something was dragged across the cover (maybe a pen, though there are no ink or pencil marks).  Slight edge and corner wear.

Notes: Contemporary translations of stories, myths, songs, speeches, prayers from 39 different tribes across North America–Alaska to the southeast, northeast to California.  Modern native linguistics.
