Peleliu 1944

Description

Condition: Book: Good. Binding tight.  No marks, tears, bends or folds.  Slight bumping to corners.  Dust Jacket: Good. Very light wear.

Notes: Somewhat pedantic.  Not your usual military history–the commanders are gods, the grunts are all valiant–Gailey is spare in his prose and unsparing in his criticisms.  Looks at the battle from both American and Japanese perspectives.
