Notes: The Santa Fe Coal Company commissioned this study of an area in McKinley County, NM.  “There is no substantive evidence of human occupation prior to about 5500 B.C….however, the earliest substantial evidence of human occupation in the project area dates to the early Archaic.” (page 22).  Few “permanent” sites, lots of “occupational/activity” sites.  VERY RARE.  No copies available for sale, and held in only two libraries.
