Notes: Grand Canyon Archaeological Series, Volume 1.  First sighted by John Wesley Powell on his first trip down the Colorado, the Bright Angel site was occupied between A.D. 1050 and 1060, and again between A.D. 1100 and 1140, and consisted of a five room pueblo and ceremonial kiva.
