Condition: Good. Comb binding tight, no missing or broken teeth. No marks, tears, bends or folds. Some light wear along spine edge, where the paper covers meet the comb. Very light edge and corner wear. Appears unused.
Notes: Archaeological Series No. 158. “…a manual presenting brief instruction in the basic methods employed in archaeological work…This first volume focuses on procedures for intensive surface collection and excavation.” (From the Preface). It strikes me these procedures should have been taught to undergrad archaeology students, but perhaps not. Reference manual–Research Design, Mapping, Field Photography, Excavation Procedures, Samples, Forms, Permits, and Field, Lab and Office Equipment. Just the facts, ma’am, just the facts.
