Notes: Anthropological Papers No. 30.  Two volume set.  Prior to the widening of U.S. Highway 89 north of Flagstaff, investigation of 41 prehistoric sites located within the proposed right-of-way.  This two volume set provides background information on the project and descriptions of the 41 investigated sites.  Other work on the sites is presented in “Sunset Crater Archaeology”, Anthropological Papers 31, 32, 33, and 37.  All of the sites investigated were affected by the eruption of the Sunset Crater volcano, which erupted sometime between A.D. 1050 and A.D. 1125, often for continual periods of time.   Two volume set.  SOLD AS A SET ONLY.
