Condition: Fair.  Previous owner’s name on inside front board.  The most significant fault is (are?) two closed tears at the top edge of the Plate 4 page (unnumbered).  At some point in time someone repaired those tears with scotch tape, which has aged and stained the Plate 4 page and page 9 which immediately follows.   Edge and corner wear.  Wear to head and foot of spine.  Corner bumping.  Scuffing to rear cover, and small sticker spot to lower front cover near the spine edge.   Gilt on binding still sharp, easily readable.  Without dust jacket, as issued.
