Description
Author: Henry, Susan L.
Publisher: National Park Service
Pub Date: 1993
Binding: Paperback
Condition: Fair. Binding tight. No marks, tears, folds. Upper front cover corner has an approx. 1/4″ bend. Lower rear cover corner has an approx. 1″ bend. Scuffing to front and rear covers. Edge and corner wear.
Notes: Good luck with that old, bullet-riddled, red and white “No Trespassing” sign. We’re talking about serious, legal protections. Starts with acquisition options–government, non-profit, transfer of title–then, interestingly, financing options–private, non-profit, government, incentives (tax deductions)–development regulations, zoning, environmental review, laws, and “Non-Regulatory Strategies” (nothing about or from Ed Abbey in this section, sigh). You’d think this topic would be dry as dust but Ms. Henry does an excellent job of keeping you interested.
