Notes: Transactions of the American Philosophical Society New Series-Volume 48, Part 6. Three seasons of fieldwork in Tamaulipas to try to work out a chronology of pre-ceramic culture in Mexico. MacNeish posited that Tamaulipas was the southernmost edge of the Great Plains, and pre-ceramic cultures may have migrated that far south.
