Condition: Fair. Stapled binding tight. No marks, folds. Lower front cover corner has an approx. 2″ crease, with an approx. 1/2″ bend interior. Corner worn. Upper front cover worn, missing small piece of the corner. Upper front cover edge at spine head has an approx. 1/8″ split. Upper rear cover corner creased several times, worn. Small spots and smudges on lower rear cover. Smudging to front and rear spine edges. Edge and corner wear.

Excavation of a rockshelter in southeast Colorado, probably occupied seasonally by a small group of ancients. Gebhard spent the bulk of his career working with the Kinsey Institute, and was co-author (with Kinsey) of Sexual Behavior in the Human Female ( W. B. Saunders Company, 1953 ).
