Significant corner wear and edge wear. Smudging to text block. There is an area at lower spine/front cover corner where the spine is wearing, almost to the point of a tear, but not quite. Copy 2( JR): Fair. Binding tight. No tears, folds. Previous owner’s name on upper edge title page. Upper front cover corner has an approx. 3″ bend, creases. Lower rear cover corner worn, slightly bent. Edge and corner wear. Copy 3 (SR): Fair. Binding tight. No marks, tears, folds. Sun fading to upper and spine edges of front cover, spine (title barely visible), and upper and spine edges of rear cover. Lower rear cover corner has an approx. 2″ bend. Smudging to front and rear covers.

Mex., are early historic remains of 17 Pueblo house mounds, numerous detached kivas, a small Spanish church, and a mission establishment. One kiva, the small Spanish church, and 37 Pueblo rooms were excavated…The probable effects of a culturally mixed group lacking social stability are explored as a contributing factor in the abandonment of the area and dispersal of the people about 1672, well before the Pueblo Revolt of 1680.” (From the Abstract).
