Condition:  Volume 1: Fair.  Binding tight.  No marks, bends or folds.  Lower front cover corner has an approx. 1″ tear, with a fold on the corner beneath the tear.  Now taped.   Some corner and edge wear, some smudging to bottom of text block.  What looks like erased pencil marks at head of spine, but too faint to tell (smudging?).  Volume 2: Good.  Binding tight.  No marks, tears, bends or folds.  Very light corner and edge wear.  Appears unused.  Volume 3: Good.  Binding tight.  No marks, tears, bends or folds.  Very light corner and edge wear.  Appears unused.

Notes: Navajo Nation Publications in Anthropology Number 12.  SOLD AS A SET ONLY.  Single volumes available separately (see other Gallegos Mesa listings).  “The Blocks VIII, IX, X, and XI study area incorporates an approximately 87,000 acre area on Gallegos Mesa…An archaeological survey of the area has revealed the existence of 814 archaeological sites and 1918 isolated occurrences.  The identified sites include 997 temporally discrete components.  The sites recorded in the study area consist of 346 single component prehistoric manifestations, 291 single component historic manifestations, and 177 multicomponent sites. ”  (from the Abstract).  Sounds to me like the Archaeologists Full-Employment Act.
