Condition: 2 copies.  Copy 1 (SR):  Fair to Good.  Binding tight.  No marks, tears.  Upper front cover corner has an approx. 1/8″ x 1″ fold.  Some smudging to covers.  Light edge wear.  Copy 2 (LOA23): Fair.  Ex-library.  Binding tight.  No tears, bends or folds.  Library stamp on upper front cover, checkout envelope glued to ffep.  Smudging to front cover, spotting on back cover (?).  The front cover has a shadow/sun-fading, caused by another book being placed on front cover.  Appears unused.

Notes: Publications of the Frederick Webb Hodge Anniversary Publication Fund, Volume VI.   Originally published in 1952.  A metate site, a cove site, a cemetery, a cairn, and a stone-bowl site, all excavated before being built upon.  Walker was also the author of 1600 Mile Trip by Burro – Albuquerque to Los Angeles, 1895–1896, written in 1938 but not published until 1985, by the Tucson Corral of the Westerners.  Like Watson Smith, a different career path that turned to archaeology.
