Notes: Anthropological Papers of the University of Arizona, Number 1. Contributions to Point of Pines Archaeology Number 13. “Nantack Village was selected for study because its prehistoric occupation included a period of time, from A.D. 900-1000, that was not well understood in the Point of Pines chronology. Numerous tests and the excavation of 11 semi-subterranean units, including one Great Kiva, now make possible the definition of the Nantack Phase.” (From the Introduction)
