Notes:Publications in Archaeology Report No. 39. Prior to road work in 1976, the Sleeper Site was excavated. Dating to 5000 B.C., occupational debris including stone baking heaps, numerous milling stones, and chipped-flint tools and débitage were uncovered. Activities included plant collecting and milling, baking by means of stone heaps, some amount of hunting, and flint knapping. Blade tools of several sorts were found. The site is considered representative of the San Geronimo Culture.
