Notes:   Part 1: Project Background and Site Descriptions.  Part 2: Specialized Analyses and Synthetic Studies.  The Flats are located south of the I-8/I-10 junction between Tucson and Casa Grande, Arizona.  This report details the investigations of 13 prehistoric sites on the Flats, prior to the construction of irrigation canals.   “The 13 sites included 3 villages, one farmstead, and nine resource procurement loci; most of these were occupied during the late Sedentary or Classic periods.”  (From the Abstract).  Part 2 has lots of information on the middens of the sites.  SOLD AS A SET ONLY.  A single volume of Part 1 is also available.  See https://joethebookguy.com/shop/archaeology/classic-period-occupation-on-the-santa-cruz-flats-the-santa-cruz-flats-archaeological-project-part-1/
