Notes: Archaeological Series No. 102. NO COVERS (see photo). Prior to the construction of a plaza directly south of the mission San Xavier del Bac, an archaeological excavation was conducted. “Excavations produced a collection of artifacts dating from prehistoric times through the present. An occupation surface, inferred to be the remians (sic) of a ramada, and many postholes were found. No architectural remains were recovered. Erosion, vehicular traffic, and other activities in the study area significantly disturbed the context of archaeological remains and decreased their integrity.” (From the Abstract). Nothing to see here, folks. Keep moving.
