Notes: Contribution to Cities Service Company-Pinto Valley Project Archaeology, No. 4. “…Scorpion Ridge ruin (Ariz. V:9:14), a small Salado site that formed a single occupation unit inhabited around the beginning of the second millenium (sic) A.D. The site was probably inhabited by a singly family on a seasonal basis for purposes including the collection of non-domesticated food resources. It is possible that the community occupying the site was involved in trade relations with the Hohokam groups such as those that may have inhabited a nearby campsite during the same time period.” (From the Abstract)
