Notes: Pamphlet.  Museum of Northern Arizona Technical Series No. 8.  Turkey Cave, in Kiet Siel Canyon, Navajo National Monument,  has been known since 1897, when Richard Wetherill inscribed his name and date in charcoal at the back cliff wall.  Byron Cummings and Harold Gladwin were among the first to archaeologically explore the very large overhang.  To my mind, this is what an archaeological pamphlet should be–well illustrated, easy to read (a modicum of jargon), with easy to read charts and diagrams.
