I can honestly say this book looks better without the dust jacket. It looks “stately.” Copy 2 (RCL): Book: Fair to Good. Binding tight. No tears, bends or folds. Previous owner’s stamp on front pastedown. Some edge and corner wear. Gilt on spine and front board still sharp, easily readable. Smudging to bottom text block. Dust Jacket: Fair to Good. A couple of small chips, one each at head and foot of spine. Some edge wear. Smudging to front cover.
