Notes: Archaeological Series No. 9. 8 page report on the survey of the intake and outlet sites and 8 miles of the proposed Buckskin Tunnel portion of the Central Arizona Project. “Archaeologists surveyed over 8 linear miles of the proposed tunnel, including the intake and outlet portals. Only one archaeological site, AZ L:16:1 (ASM), a tool quarry site with a trail crossing through it was identified within the project right-of-way.” (From the Abstract). The included ephemera is a partial (? only 3 typed pages) “Appendix II”, submitted by Dorothy Hall: “Micro-Environmental Report Buckskin Mountains to Burnt Mountain.” I doubt if this is the complete Appendix, but I can find no listing for this in any database.
