Notes: Pamphlet.  Museum of Northern Arizona Bulletin 16.  Much less about the survey and much more about the pottery.  Working with the Santa Fe Railroad to fund the project and provide transportation…”the Museum-Santa Fe expedition recorded over one hundred sites.  Most of these lie in Mojave County in northwestern Arizona, north of Bill Williams Fork and fe lie in Yavapai and Coconino Counties west of the 116th meridian…there are no masonry structures.  The sites in the open show little indications on the surface of the ground except stone flakes, a few sherds and an area of darkened soil.”  (Page 6).  Of the 15 new types of pottery “Some of these types were indigenous to the area and others were introduced in trade from distant regions to the east.” (Page 7).
