Notes: Begins with “Finder”–humanlike, animallike (sic), and abstract, then an alphabetical index by “ascribed” meaning, then alphabetical by symbol, and finally the rock art symbols themselves. It may sound confusing but it actually works pretty well. General rather than specific rock art sites, and national parks with rock art set-asides for viewing. Forewords by William Lipe and Al Schroeder.
