Notes: For years we had one of these hex signs hanging over our garage door and I never knew what it meant (a “single rosette”, placed there by my wife).  Kind of like the horseshoe with the open end facing up, which hangs over the entry to the house from the garage.  Both for “good luck.”  Lots of hex signs interpreted here.  Drawings and photographs.  For me, though, my money’s with Warren Zevon–“Send lawyers, guns and money….”
