Condition:  Fair.  Binding tight.  No marks, tears, folds.  Front and rear edges starting to bow.  Lower rear cover corner has an approx. 1½” bend.  Edge and corner wear.  Horizontal format, 10″ x 7″.

Notes:  Bilingual.  Hopi and English, side by side.  This is a (facsimile?) reprint of the 1944 publication by the BIA Branch of Education.  A Hopi myth–little guy (in this case a field mouse) defeats the chicken-eating hawk and earns his reward.  Illustrations by Fred Kabotie.  My single complaint with the volume would be to have the Hopi Alphabet/Pronunciation Guide at the front rather than the rear.
