Notes: 1772 Mission Inventories No. 1.  Office of the State Archeologist Special Report 23.  Bilingual, Spanish and English.  Two column format, Spanish in the left column, English in the right.  In 1772, four missions in San Antonio were transferred from one Mexican “diocese” to another, causing inventories of religious stuff to be transferred–church stuff (candles, hosts), vestments, tools, parish records, iconography, lists of parishioners (men, women, children, married, single), escapees (fugitives), farms and farm animals.
