Totems to Turquoise: Native North American Jewelry Arts of the Northwest and Southwest

1 in stock

Editor: Chalker, Kari

Publishers: Harry N. Abrams and American Museum of Natural History

Pub Date: 2004

Binding: Hardcover

Condition: Book: Fair to Good.  Binding tight.  No tears, bends or folds.  Lower edge sun-faded, front, back, and spine.  Gift inscription on ffep.  Signed by the editor on title page.  Dust Jacket: Fair to Good.  One approx. 1/2″ closed tear on lower front edge, with approx. 2″ scratch.  Some scratching to front and rear covers.  Not price clipped.  Now in mylar.

Notes: Exhibit catalog, albeit really well done.  150 color photos.  No signed copies available.  Maybe it’s because we don’t see much northwest art/craft and we see a LOT of southwest items, but the northwest stuff looks more intricate, more unusual.  If I lived in Oregon it’d probably be the other way around.
