Author: Voth, H.R. (Heinrich Richert, 1855-1931)

Publisher: Field Columbian Museum (now the Field Museum of Natural History)

Pub Date: 1903

Binding: Hardcover

Condition: Fair to Good.  Ex-library.  Binding tight.  No marks, bends or folds.  Frontispiece is detaching from binding but still intact.  Without dust jacket (as issued?).  Some scuffing to front board, spine.

Notes: Field Columbian Museum Publication no. 83, Anthropological Series Vol. III, No. 4.  From the library of J.O. Brew, his colophon on lower spine.  At the next to last page of the book there is a stiff paper insert with the Peabody Museum library bookplate and the date 1906.  On the front of the insert, in pencil, “dup”, typically indicating a duplicate copy which was deaccessioned.  Brew probably bought it, or picked it out of the discard pile, and had it rebound with his colophon.  See photos.  Very Rare.
